2005 Birthday Lecture Announcement
The Ernest Hemingway Foundation of Oak Park is pleased to announce the 2005 Hemingway Birthday Lecture on Thursday, July 21, 2005.
John Callaway, senior correspondent for WTTW, PBS in Chicago, is the featured speaker. He has received more than 70 awards for his work, including a Peabody Award and seven Emmys.

2005 Reading Group Announcement
The Hemingway Reading / Discussion Group begins 2005 with the examination of The Complete Short Stories Of Ernest Hemingway, including Big Two Hearted River, beginning Thursday, January 6, 2005 and continuing every 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month, through April 21, 2005. The first discussion will be led by Redd Griffin, a founding Director of The Ernest Hemingway Foundation of Oak Park. He initiated the Hemingway book discussions at the Oak Park Public Library in the early 1990's.

2004 Boxing Day Event Announcement
CELEBRATE A TRADITIONAL BOXING DAY IN THE HEMINGWAY VICTORIAN BIRTHPLACE HOME, DECEMBER 26, 2004
The Ernest Hemingway Foundation of Oak Park will hold its festive Boxing Day celebration Sunday, December 26, 2004, 1p.m. – 5 p.m. at the Hemingway Birthplace Home, 339 N. Oak Park Avenue, Oak Park.
The annual event for families will include musical entertainment from the Young Family Trio, Kathryn and John Atwood Duet, harpist Laura Fabo Utley, & Hemingway Readers Theatre. Light refreshments have been contributed by Great Harvest, Prairie Bread Kitchen, and Hemingway bakers. Holiday punch along with specialty teas from Todd & Holland Tea Merchants will be served.

2004 Hemingway Benefit Event Wrap-Up
THE ERNEST HEMINGWAY FOUNDATION OF OAK PARK THANKS YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT OF 2004 FUNDRAISING EVENT
The Ernest Hemingway Foundation is pleased to announce that "A Hemingway Toast to F. Scott Fitzgerald" held November 15, 2004 was a resounding success!
Over 150 friends of the Foundation enjoyed the evening of readings by actor John Mahoney that explored the complex relationship of Hemingway and Fitzgerald, through excerpts from The Great Gatsby. Introductions were made by Tim Gamble, music of the Roaring 20's was provided by Brian Fowler and Char Luporini. Over $7,000 was raised during the evening to support the Foundation's programs.

The Ernest Hemingway Foundation is pleased to announce a benefit event:
"A Hemingway Toast to F. Scott Fitzgerald" featuring readings by actor John Mahoney, with music by Brian Fowler and Char Luporini. Monday, November 15, 2004 at Fitzgerald's, 6615 Roosevelt Road, Berwyn.
The evening will explore the complex relationship of these literary giants with an examination of their friendship and literary styles, with readings excerpted from The Great Gatsby.
